Ice Cream, Swim Date, Swim Lessons and Father's Day!

We have been busy little bees this summer.  Thank gosh Olivia doesn't mind riding in the car.  On Thursday night we decided to take a trip to Dairy Queen!  It was so fun! Olivia had a little ice cream, but mostly loved people watching!

On Saturday morning I took Olivia to meet Lia and Jamie at the FAQ (Palatine Park District Pool).  We had a great time playing and splashing around.  It was fun to catch up with Jamie and see cute Lia.  We had to cut our playdate short due to a storm that passed through, so we ended up going back to Mimi and Poppy's and having dinner-Lobster and Filet!  It was so tasty and tons of fun!

Sunday we celebrated  Dave's 1st Father's day and we let dada sleep in a bit and then we let him open his gifts...Olivia and I made him a coffee mug with her picture on it and also a "dada day" where he can go and do whatever he wants--go golfing, go to the pool or hang with friends.  We also had Olivia's 1st Aqua Tot swim lesson and it went good.  She was the youngest by about 6 months, but you can never start them swimming to young!  She did good, but it was certainly nap time afterwards.  We went back to the house and let her sleep.  Afterwards we went to Philips Park Zoo in Aurora and swang on the swings.  Then we finished the day by going to Rito's for Mexican!  What a busy week and lots of fun!
