On Saturday, March 2nd we had a family fun day planned with the Krich Family. It has been way too long since we had seen everyone and Molly and I had been in talks about getting together and doing something fun! We had a great day! We met at Chuck E Cheese in Naperville after Olivia's nap around 2:30pm and played for about two hours. It was a great time! I was so excited to see what Chuck E Cheese was like, since I had not been to one in probably over 15 years. Showbiz pizza was around when Dave and I were growing up and we can still recall how much fun we had when we were little. We loved the Rockafire Explosion Band, the arcade games, the balls and everything about it! It was a great time! We only hope that we can give Olivia those special memories we had. We'll we had a wonderful time!
It was so nice to play with Madison, Delaney and Nathaniel and to see Jay and Molly! We had a great time chasing the kids around, playing skee-ball, arcade games, getting tickets, seeing the Chuck E Cheese show and having fun! Olivia and the kids loved playing the games and running around! It was very fun! Next year when we go back she'll be older and able to play in the play area.
After our fun afternoon we headed to Connie's Pizza and spent time hanging out while the kids played, ate pizza and us parents had some cocktails. We had a great time! Olivia got some great gifts from her godparents; a grocery cart, owl purse, food to play with, an owl blanket and baby doll. We had so much fun. We are hoping to go out there in the summer for a day and night to play in the pool, playground and hang out! What a great family day!
