We'll we did it! We put a contract on a house in Palatine on Saturday, April 6th and on Sunday night they accepted our offer! We are excited and super nervous about the big move and new changes! We made the decision that being close to work and home is super important! Dave has been commuting the past three years from Aurora to Arlington Heights. It has been a hard commute when we have Olivia at home. We are so excited about having more time at night to hang with Olivia, take her to the park, the pool, more family time and a great area! The funny thing is the neighborhood we moved into is the neighborhood where I lifeguarded for many years! We are so excited to close on May 20th and move in over Memorial Day Weekend!
We love our new home so much and can't wait to make it our home for many years down the line! Things we love about it and the are:
- 4 bedrooms, great kitchen and beautiful sunroom and backyard
- close to work. Dave's commute: 10 minutes if that and mine will be around 20 minutes
- one park, one baseball fields and two pools in walking distance
- closer to mom and dad
- closer to friends and family
- great schools, Olivia can walk to elementary school
- Mariano's grocery store-enough said
- Shopping all around
- 5 minutes from highway
- MORE FAMILY TIME!
