We had a great staycation the week of July 30th-August 3rd! Dave and I went back and forth on what we should do this year! Go on a vacation or stay home and take a week off. We decided that taking a week off an staying around the area would be the best. We had a wonderful staycation and really had a great time with Olivia and we were even able to do a couple adult night outs which included seeing the Dark Knight Rises and dinner! We did something everyday whether it be Raging Waves Waterpark, celebrating Gram's Birthday, the Dupage County Fair, Navy Pier, and Brookfield Zoo. We also got some mini projects done around our house! It was a great weekend to relax, spend time as a family and have fun and enjoy a great summer week off from work and the daily grind. Here are some fun pictures from our staycation 2012, but I think next year we are planning to go back to the Outer Banks, North Carolina!
